About City Disciple
City Disciple exists to catalyze Disciple Making Movements in our city and yours. Jesus gives us the simple roadmap: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” The journey starts by following Jesus as obedient disciples. We then make disciples of others who make even more disciples. The result is a movement that transforms the world as it multiplies. Along the way we pray, pray, and pray some more. We also tell our stories, share the very Good News of Jesus, form purposeful teams, learn how to read and obey the Bible, plant simple churches, raise up caring leaders, and meet tangible needs in the community.

Where have I been! A long overdue update
One of the things I love about Disciple Making Movements is that it places the keys of the kingdom back in the hands of everyday, non-professional believers like the New Testament intended. The “expert” shepherds/leaders, are not called to do the work of the ministry for the sheep, but rather to equip and empower the sheep, the everyday, non-expert saints, to do the bulk of the disciple making ministry.
DMM Devotional Thoughts: Modelling the Change We Want to See
The word “disciple” itself, is related to the word “discipline”, both in English and in the original Greek. It points to the truths that a “disciple” is more than just a student 👨🏻🎓 who is receiving head knowledge, and “disciple-making” is more than just communicating facts. Biblical disciple-making results in a disciple whose lifestyle has been “disciplined” to look like the lifestyle of the disciple maker. To become a disciple is not only about changing the way you think, it’s about changing the way you walk👣.
